The Man who Grew a Finger

This is text from an article I just read on BBC News.  The original article and videos may be found here.
In every town in every part of this sprawling country you can find a faceless sprawling strip mall in which to do the shopping.  Rarely though do would you expect to find a medical miracle [...]

On Sunday, May 11, thousands of Jewish and Gentile (non-Jewish) people of every age will gather in a stadium in downtown Jerusalem to fast and pray. TheCall Jerusalem is held in the spirit of the prophet Joel who called Israel to consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly, and come together and weep, imploring the [...]

Inside IBM’s Silicon Valley Lab

Robert Scoble of FastCompany.TV went inside IBM’s Almaden research laboratory.  He interviewed the lab’s director Dr. Mark Dean, IBM Fellow.  This lab is doing bleeding edge research in several areas including data storage.  It is also the lab that is responsible for bringing us the hard disk drive, which is featured in the video.
